College readiness may be demonstrated through the TSI Assessment or qualifying scores, exemptions, or waivers accepted by ACC. Requirements depend on the course.

Dual-enrollment questions
Will the courses transfer?
Transfer depends on the receiving college and degree requirements. Confirm how each course applies before enrolling; a transferable course may not satisfy a specific major requirement.
Can a student earn an associate degree?
It may be possible with a suitable degree plan, course availability, eligibility, and successful completion. It is a planning goal, not an automatic result of dual enrollment.
Are all ACC courses covered by a waiver?
No. ACC’s waiver rules apply to eligible students and eligible courses. Review the official costs page and check any remaining balance after registration.
How much high school support is available this year?
