The Academic Orchard is proud to be a contracted partner school with Austin Community College (ACC). Through this partnership, our high school students have the opportunity to co-enroll in college courses with the potential to graduate high school having earned significant college credit -or even an associate degree.

To participate in dual credit courses, students must pass the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) assessment. Our state certified high school educators work closely with students to determine their eligibility based on TSI scores, academic performance, and classroom readiness to create their dual enrollment high school diploma.

Typically, students in 9th and 10th grade attend The Academic Orchard full-time. As students progress into 11th and 12th grade, they are supported in gradually increasing their ACC course load as part of a carefully guided academic pathway.
